Jim Moore, M.A., M.B.A. -
Jim Moore is an operations and finance expert with extensive
experience in strategy development, business planning and project
management. Jim has raised millions of dollars of investment capital for
both high and low technology ventures, assisted in successful M & A
transactions, set up manufacturing and distribution operations, and
managed organizations as large as 400 people. For the past ten years, he
has worked with early-stage technology companies in the Northwest,
serving in roles including COO, CFO, VP Ops, Advisor and Director. Jim
plays an active role on the boards of directors of both private
companies (ERGA and Burro Ghana, Ltd.) and nonprofits (Water 1st
International, Institute for Learning and Brain Science, Antioch
University, Seattle, and Harvard Business School Club of Puget Sound).
He installed a solar PV system on his home in the San Juan Islands and
has an abiding interest in the economics of renewable energy systems.
Jim earned BA (Engineering and Applied Physics), MBA and Master in
Regional Planning degrees from Harvard University.
